My New Healthy Journey

Uncategorized

I am getting older. That’s not news because so is everyone. I’m a short guy but luckily I have always been skinny. Until the last couple of years. I have watched my waistline grow. I can eat more than I ever have been. I don’t feel good anymore. I decided it was time to make a change. I watched my father’s health deteriorate as he aged and I am determined not to go down the same path.

I am now going to the gym nearly every day. I push myself harder than I thought I could, thanks to my amazing gym partner and girlfriend. I have noticed change but not the change I was expecting. Though I am gaining muscle, that fat inside my abdomen is still there. I still look bad and more importantly, feel terrible.

I did some research and found a reputable company with health prodcuts that claim to help with the exact problem areas I have. Three days ago I received my products and have been using them since. This blog will serve as a diary to showcase my progress or failure. I will explain the products I use and provide my opinions. I will not go into detail about my workouts because there are so many differing opinions on what works.

The company I decided to purchase products from is Truvy. If you are interested in checking it out for yourself, you can click here for their website. https://smaurano.truvy.com/ I went with the “belly buster” pack. I thought it fitting for what I am looking to accomplish. It includes a month supply of the following supplements. I am not going to explain each product because it’s always better to do your own research and I could not describe it nearly as well as the company itself. The pack came with:
TruFix and TruControl. Both of these supplements are for weight management. You take one of each 30 minutes before both breakfast and lunch.
TruSlumber which supports healthy sleep.
reNU which is a detox.
Heart and Hydration, a water additive to support heart health and hydration. The flavor I picked was grapefruit.
The exact package I purchased was https://truvy.shop/61uq

Day 1: The first thing I did was measure myself. This is more than likely the hardest part of the endeavor. It was mind numbing to put to paper your measurements when you already don’t feel good about yourself. I then took all of the supplements as directed. The water additive was surprisingly delicious. Adding it to 16oz of water makes it very easy to get all of the necessary drinking started. The supplements gave me boosts of energy without that buzzed feeling. I really wasn’t all that interested in eating either. I know I need to eat something to produce energy for the gym so I am eating but absolutely less than I used to. We will see how it goes after 7 days.

Day 7: One week in and I feel great. I have gone to the gym 5 out of the last 7 days doing 10 minutes on the elliptical trainer, heavy weight training, then some cross training. Nothing different than what I was doing before I started TruVy.

So now that I have been on the TruVy supplement program for a week I was excited to see if there were any results. However, lets first discuss how the supplements made me feel throughout the week. After taking the supplements as directed the first day, I had absolutely no interest in eating. I knew I had to because I was working out and still needed sustenance, but I severely reduced the food intake. A few days later, I got hungry again but found myself eating slower and filling much faster. I have a bag of candy on my desk which I would generally have no problem digging into multiple times during the day but now I have no interest. I feel good with more energy. I believe the detox is working well due to the tremendous amount of sweating I have been doing and the not so pleasant smell on my skin. I did independent research outside of the TruVy website and found this to be normal during a time of detox. Don’t get me wrong, I am not clearing out a restaurant when I walk to my table but I do notice a smell after a workout, one which is different than before. Being a terrible sleeper in the first place, I was looking forward to the TruSlumber, however as of now, I have noticed no benefit to my sleeping patterns.

Now on to the exciting stuff, the weigh in and measurements. I refused to step on a scale throughout the week because I don’t like the idea of a scale dictating how I feel. Before I was able to measure, I did have to go to work. I wear a suit and tie and lately my shirt collar feels like I am being strangled and by buttons pop open many times throughout my shift. However, on this occasion I did feel a little less constricted and only one time did a button pop open. This was a wonderful feeling, even before any scientific measuring results. I stepped on the scale and had lost 1.8 pounds. Though it may seem insignificant, it is a recommended amount of weight to lose in a week and I am weight lifting. There was a .5 inch loss in my hips, a 1 inch loss in my chest and the greatest loss was my waist, losing a full inch.

TruVy claimed I would see and feel a difference in just one week and I do. I think you should give it a shot. If you are not ready to spend the money on a full course, they offer a one week trial for only $29. Click this link to go directly to that page. http://smaurano.truvy.com/trynow
